I’m excited to announce that my teacher Richard Rosen has a new book out, just in time for the holidays! And today I’m going to share an excerpt from it with you. I’ve had a chance to read it already so I can describe it for you. Summing it up in one line, I’d say Yoga by the Numbers is an entertaining and erudite romp through yoga history and philosophy told through the lens of numbers that are especially significant in the yoga tradition.

I hope you enjoy this short excerpt! It’s five pages long, so use the embedded reader to scroll to the other pages. (If you’re reading this post in your email, to read the excerpt, click on link to it that you see in your email.)

If you’re interested in buying the book, you can find several different options for purchasing it at penguinrandomhouse.com.
